How to wire rear lights?

I switched mine to aux 3 and no problems anymore. Nice to flash people behind me who leave their brights on!

Whtrapta,

Do both the rear lights and the backup lights come on at the same time using the aux switch (I am planning to do the same mod and don't see it as a problem)?

I had it set up before to only reverse would turn them on. They were wired into the center wire for the trailer plug. Then I ran another wire from aux 4. It turned both the rear lights and the stock reverse lights on and I didn't want my wiring to back feed and mess anything up so now they are only on the switch. I have I think 55w bulbs in the lights and they drew too much from aux 4 and would blow the fuse so its now on aux 3.
