Hey all,

I just recently moved to Colorado from Hawaii and purchased my first Raptor! I left the Army after the better part of a decade and this was a present from my wife. I’ve been talking to her about Raptors since I was a teenager, so I’m beyond stoked to join the community!

I’m west of Denver near the foothills and would love to soak up all the fun things to do, learn about adding things to my truck, and all that jazz. Specifically, any truck rack set ups people recommend?

Thanks for letting me join!

Thank you for your service. What will you be doing with the rack? Bikes? RTT? Gear? How much? How heavy?

Thanks! I was looking at some decked systems with a rack above it for mounting bikes/water and fuel cans, recovery equipment stowed away, things of that nature.
I figured I would wait awhile so I had a clearer idea of the purpose of the racks before I got them.

Cool truck. Congrats and welcome! Consider removing the lift kit if you plan on doing any hard off-roading.
I have gotten that advice multiple times and going to 35s instead of 37s.
Thanks, I haven't looked into removing it yet, but I figured when I wear these tires out and go to 35s, that's the time to do it.

Get air tags so when they steal it, you can find it before they destroy it. Relocate the horn and do the door security stuff. Denver really likes to steal Ford trucks and Raptors are their favorite.

Welcome to FRF.

Does it have a lift kit? Or springs? 37s are fine to run if done correctly.
It is lifted, done by SCA Performance and with my limited knowledge it looks done really well.
