I myself am not a fan of the Gen3 appliqué. I love the one on our Gen2 though.

Same. The Gen 3 seems too much like an afterthought.

Looks good how did you install it? Did you have to use 3m tape or drill holes?

It comes with the 3M pretaped, all you have to do is remove the raptor badge, (I did that with a heat gun), clean the surface, peel the tape and stick it, then reinstall the raptor badge if you like. You will definitely want help from another person when aligning and sticking it.
