Duct Tape under door frames ?

I would leave the tape. It would stop anything your tires throw up from getting in there and holding water creating rust...

Pics as requested. Sorry it took so long but my 14 yr old wasn't here to help me upload them..lol
As I said before it is going to be hard to see in pics. In person you can see it very little but you can definitely feel it.
Dulled the blue on the top and bottom of shock but only a little and no big deal.

P.S. you can see the amsoil that I sprayed on the frame.

Thanks everyone. I am going to definitely keep the duct tape on there. Don't need water going into spots where it can't get out.

No problem at all.
It is definitely hard to tell its there even in person. You can feel it though and see it if you look real close.
I'm probably going to put another 2 or 3 coats on just for the hell of it.
