Can you post pics? I'd love to see them.

Dealer called me back today- had to remove beadlock wheels in order to schedule... changed color to ruby red and added tailgate appliqué while I was at it. Now to order those fuel trophys... hate those stock rims I'm getting "stuck with". But oh well I like the fuels and I'm sick of waiting. Hopefully get a build date before end of week...or month.

stock wheels are growin' on me > Magnetic pockets are a perfect match
Didn't wanna risk slowin' the build down with carbon fiber, bead locks, bed liner or decals
Had a buyer waitin' on my '16

I placed my order yesterday with beadlocks and will wait on a call to have to switch. At first I wasn't going to but if they're saying 3 months now it could be longer. Honestly the machine wheels aren't that bad and every day I continue to tell that to myself.

Definately a good choice with that color.

I removed my beadlocks and ordered new Method wheels. At this point my truck is probably getting here before the wheels, so I might spray some black tint paint on the stockers to tone down the machined finish.

I've decided that I'm going to wait it out for the Ford beadlock wheels. I guess my order will just continue to sit for a while.

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise as it will give added time for any transmission issues to be resolved as well as giving a few months for the winter road salt to pass.

Couldn't agree more with your decision. If the time frame was mid-year then I would cancel and order in Fall 2017. I'm scratching my head as to why some of us here would scratch options we want just to get the truck sooner when we've already waited 3-4 months anyway? Anything before June would be fine by me but that is just my perspective :)

I don't care what these guys say, a 400 degree PC oven will affect the heat treat of an aluminum wheel.

Scuff, paint, 2K clear. Done. Will be just as durable as an OEM finish.

I'll be doing the same. If you order an '18 right when the order banks open, you'll likely get it mid to late November - anything short of a six month difference for me and I'll definitely just wait for the '18. I'm already looking at April just because I only ordered a few weeks ago, so it won't take much of a delay for me to switch.
