mine was just like a rubbery sticker. peeled off without any heat or goo gone. it's now stuck to my garage wall.

You may have to saw it back and forth a little but it works pretty well

It should come off very easily if your truck is relatively new. I've heard people use dental floss or fishing line, but I've personally never had to use either because of how easy they come off when you do it right away.

maybe I'll just use some 80 grit sandpaper i have layin around. should work fine

I bought a Plastic Razor Blade from an Auto Detailer website and it worked great. It wont scratch your paint and it peels decals completely off. I then used a bit of GooGone to get rid of the sticky residue.

They use those things in graphics shops, they do work well.

I've also used a heat gun, dental floss, and goo gone to de-badge a vehicle. Worked just fine.
