I’ve been very impressed with how everything in the gen3 performs compared to my old gen2. Not saying I was unhappy at all with the 2018, but much happier with the 2022! You can’t go wrong either way!

I've had my Gen 3 for a few months and after seeing/riding in my truck, one friend has already traded in his Gen 2 for a Gen 3, and another is hunting for the right one at the moment. I didn't own a Gen 2, but man is the Gen 3 significantly better all the way around from what I can tell and from what my friends say who own/owned Gen 2's.
