Looking forward to going out for some runs in the desert--I see that there are a lot of SoCal / OC folks on here, so there should be no shortage of company.
As to Randy's rep, the experience thus far has been excellent, and I don't expect that to change. By way of example, I originally took an existing order truck from his inventory that did not yet have a VIN. The following week new VIN's were pulled from his order inventory, but despite the fact that my order was theoretically positioned next, mine was not one of them. Despite being on the road in Las Vegas, Randy took the time to give me a call on a Friday evening to offer me a build that should have been after mine but for whatever reason DID get it's VIN pulled, as he knew that I need to take delivery of my truck before year's end for business reasons. Oh, and I should mention that he's a nice guy too.
So, as I said, the experience thus far has been very positive. I'll keep everyone posted, and once it's all done, I'll pull together a review of the process.
