The 3 hours sounds right. So the shock or the labor wouldn't be covered under warranty?

No, for them to do work on ur truck that isn't to remedy a problem wouldn't be covered under a warranty. The 3 hours ($200 ish) is right.

My service guy called to follow up w my sync visit ( which it's acting up again) and he said if I gave him good marks on the survey he would do my perch adjustment at no charge. He said it would run 2-3 hours ( flagged) normally, and would comp it for me.

They didn't know what to do exactly but I have him an idea and told em I would show em the details.

so it is written, let it be done....

If 3 hours includes the alignment thats good, the alignment alone is usually $130+ at Ford...

I did my perch adjustments myself (to the middle) and then took it to Ford while it was still under 12,000 and got a free alignment. Took myself to lunch in a new 2011 GT, went for a test drive and got the truck back after it was washed.

My dealer quoted me 300 bucks total. They also told me I would have to purchase replacement bolts. I was told that the torque bolts for the shocks will need replaced once removed. I asked the guy if he was sure and he said if they replace the existing bolts and something broke then it would be on them and their fault if something happened. I think 300 bucks seems fair at the dealer.
