Technology Package worth it?

Are people still finding the Technology Package worth the extra $2k?

If you ever plan on doing a lot of highway miles it's worth every penny. The ACC makes long road trips a breeze.

These trucks are ridiculously priced as is , thats one box i wont be checking.

I didn't check that box. I have lane assist and the adaptive cc on my S8. I do a lot of driving in NYC and the lane assist is almost always off.. adaptive cc is cool in traffic but I've only really used it to show off when I have someone new in the car. Plus I hate anything beeping or lighting up while I'm driving. $2k for something I plan on not using .. nope .. the $2k is going towards wheels and fog lights .. I did get the 802a package .. well worth it i think

Some of this tech can make a difference in price of insurance. Something to consider. Some of the savings are fairly decent

Totally worth it. I never thought I would need it, but as a few of us that travelled across country to pick the truck up, adaptive cruise and lane assist were life savers!!!

The only reason I slightly regret not getting the tech package is for the taillights. I like the all red look. First mod will be painting that white strip red.

Isn't the all red taillights from the 802A package or is it only if you get the technology package?

From my understanding the all red lights come with the tech package. No tech package, you get the big white **** down the middle.

My truck has the tech package..
I just drove from St.Louis to Ft.Lauderdale.... I would not have the tech package... Honestly I would have paid the same not to have it...
I did not try the cruise control... I'm of the mentality to drive it, and pay attention...

The auto wipers don't work well. They come right on when its raining... but are easily triggered by...nothing... I turned it off in mine.

The collision alert scared me when it went off...and I knew what I was doing... It most definitely made my situation worse.
I turned the "sensitivity" down... It has one more chance of not cooperating and I turn it off too...
