Whatever Jim. At least I can control my wife as she isn't going to tell me that I have to get rid of my raptor or upset of what my mods have cost (but no she doesn't know nor needs to know). I will most likely be telling my wife no anyways regardless of the outcome but just thought a fellow FRF'er would like to go to Baja. It really is an awesome place to be.

Sorry Fred, it was not intended towards you but can see where you are coming from. Can't wait to get back to Baja, just the drive back is going to suck. Would be cool if you could go, we could use another truck.

I don't have a passport

Don't really need one! A valid drivers license works!

In all the times I've crossed the border (100's), only been asked once....handed the agent my license.....he looked at it, handed it back , said "have a good day".

But you still had a passport as a backup?

Not Really!....I don't take mine for fear that I may lose it, and my racing partner doesn't have one and he has been down to Baja as many times as I have.

Any form of ID from the states works.

With their computers/ tracking system, they know when you crossed into Mexico, how long you been there, past trips, etc. Answer their questions honestly and with ID you wont have a problem.

Not at all!

If you want to go I wouldn't let a lack of passport stop you. As I said many times it is not really necessary.

This will be an epic 2500 mile trip using past race courses and some trails and locations that are only known by a few long time Baja travelers.

You have a week to get ready, you won't regret it!
