Amazon.com: iJDMTOY Extremely Bright 7.5W High Power 912 921 LED Reverse Light Bulbs, Xenon White: Automotive

Do you think those would work for cargo lamps or would they be too long? If so what would you recommend? Those are what I have for my reverse lights and am happy with them.

The link didn't work, but tail lights have more room in the than cargo light does.

I just ordered a pair of these in below link. I believe they should fit both reverse and cargo lights easily. Should be in less than a week and I'll try them out in both fixtures. I'll get some pictures compared to what I have now. These should be 2x brighter than existing reverse is about 7x bright than cargo lights.

I just bought these also....should be bright based on watts. Wish they posted how many lumens it puts out.

I'm with you, I'm leery on what actual lumen output is as well. Some of them I was looking up and some sets said lumen about (seems like most I saw was 634). But again, they're from China so won't believe much, if anything about them. I figured one set should definitely be an upgrade to cargo lights.

Got my bulbs in yesterday and installed late last night. The new 50w bulbs are the shorter bulbs. The picture of the rear of the truck, the new 50w bulb in on left and old 25w bulb is on right. You can tell there is an increase in light output, in person I'd guess it's around 30% brighter than the 25w bulb. What I did notice is that due to the shorter bulb, the reverse light reflector is definitely being used more too.

With the decrease in length and what should be a pretty dramatic increase in light output compared to the 7.5w bulbs for my cargo light, I ordered a 2nd set to install in there. I'll follow up with comparison pictures when they come in.

** One thing to note is that our reverse light socket only has contacts on one side, so you have to bend the bulb's contacts to opposite sides. Takes 5 seconds to do, but wanted to note it.

I updated the OP with link and pics for reverse lights.

I didn't take any. When the cargo lights come in I'll try to remember to get some... Likely won't be true light output, seeing light output is always best seen in person.

Get some, you won't be disappointed... Just ask anyone that had upgraded.
