Anybody have any pictures of how to mount switches? Is it just best to tie into the parking light wire so when the truck gets unlocked it turns on?
Pretty sure in the LED bed light thread I posted how to mount a magnetic switch. But shit that was a few years ago. Lol....

Do elaborate on how to over ride the magnetic switch.

i just put a toggle switch inline up front. the mag switch has 2 wires. one goes to ground and the other is connected to the electronics. when the switch is closed, the connection is open. meaning that when thr tailgate is closed, ground does NOT pass through. when the switch is open, the connection is closed meaning that ground DOES pass through. the ground on the second wire triggers the relay to allow the lights to turn on. so the toggle switch is on the wire that is NOT ground all the time. if i turn the switch off, then ground will never pass through to the relay or my alarm. i use it whenever i have to drive with the tailgate down.

Or you could've just put a switch in the back. Always showing off your fancy skills.
