First off, I know 5-star just sells the AFE intake setup and doesn't actually manufacture it but I figured this is the place where I'd get the right answer. I just installed my AFE stage 2 and LiveWire TS 5015 and uploaded my 91 perf tune last night. It really woke the truck up! During the install of the CAI box, I noticed there was a good sized gap running down one of the sides of the box. My question is, is that gap there on 2012's or has something changed in the 2013's to make this gap an issue? Pic of what I'm trying to explain is below.

Also second question, is it a bad idea to run the Econ tune if say I'm taking a long drive (SoCal to Vegas) and then I decide I want to switch it to an performance tune for the trip back due to some planned off-roading? The only reason I'm questioning it is due to the all the talk of the truck and computer having to learn the tune...
