So after wanting a raptor forever I finally got one a few months ago. 2011 tuxedo black screw with luxury package, everything but the graphics.

Previous owner was a car guy like me and added weather techs, Gibson exhaust, FRF light bar and KCS, and Airaid CAI.

I can't keep anything stock, so I immediately purchased Method DS. Finally go to put them on- they don't fit over the calipers.

So I send them back and go with the NV instead. Currently waiting for a set of Vinces caps.

Then I did the mid perch mod with some rebuilt coilovers.

Then tonnopro trifold.

Now I'm waiting on my ADD Lite bumper to arrive and will be pulling the trigger on an SVC tune tomorrow.

To do list:

Exhaust ( I need more sound) - will likely do a cut out and ditch the side exit in favor of a turndown.

37s- this will have to wait til spring.

Shackles- soon. I hate the rake this thing has.

Remove steps.- soon when I stop being lazy.

Paint match flares and rear bumper- spring.

3.0s- also slated for next year.

Not sure why the double standards didn't fit. Mine work fine. Also, if you are at the mid height setting in the front, there shouldn't be much rake.

Yeah I thought they would be fine based on everything I had read and seen. (I knew there were some issues with 2014 models) But it wasn't even close. I couldn't even get the wheel to seat against the hub all the way. Who knows. I would have liked to run the DS as I prefer them much more and have had several sets on previous trucks but didn't want to deal with spacers or grinding or any of the other alternatives.

As for the rake, I like a bit of reverse rake, just a personal preference.

Yeah, depending on mileage and use, the stock springs are probably bagged. Might wanna consider updated rear leafs. They will handle a lot better as well.

That's all on the list for spring time. I'd like to upgrade to 3.0s and deavers as well as the RPG bolt kit if the cards play out right.

As for the Methods- I know they fit on some but there is a thread out there somewhere where several people with different year trucks had issues and weren't able to use the double standards.

I run 17" 0 offset double standards on my 14, fits fine. I do get a little rub at full steering lock. I'm running gaiser bro front progressive springs set a mid. The springs ride so nice! Highly recommended

Yeah I've looked into the geiser bros Springs, I'll probably try to go for a full mid travel kit come spring.

Here is the main thread about the double standards not fitting. It seems to be hit or miss. They work 99% of the time, but that 1% will get you.

if you did mid perch, get the alignment kit from ford or SDHQ offroad. A must to get the toe set right. The factory is not adjustable system. You will be chewing your tires up.
