“Monster Energy Outlaw Raptor Run”

It's official! We are accepting sign-ups for the 1st “Monster Energy Outlaw Raptor Run” presented by General Tires on June 4th and 5th 2011. Space is limited to only 10 vehicles so act fast. This run will be a two day event leaving early Saturday and returning Sunday afternoon. We’ll stage equipment Saturday, June 4th, 2011 at 9:00 am in Barstow, Ca and be hitting the trail by 10:00 am sharp. Outlaw Raptor will e-mail you the meeting location (so we don't get any non supporters following us). Outlaw Raptor will provide a chase support truck with a 25ft flat bed trailer and spare parts that will pace alongside the 15 freeway. We’ll be making our way through some of California's most challenging desert terrain. This will give most of the drivers a new found respect for how well the Ford Raptor is built. The 240 mile course will consist of several different types of terrain ranging from hard packed trails (easily conquered in 2wd) to tire flatting rocked out billy goat trails only done in 4wd. You'll need to bring your "A" game on this run as you'll be hitting speed in excess of 80 mph off road then rock crawling down the side of a mountain at 5 mph. The run should take about 5 hours to complete with one gas stop along the way (keep in mind we are in the desert and anything could happen!). After battling the California deserts and dealing with challenges along the run we’ll end up in Las Vegas, NV. Upon arrival in Las Vegas, we will check into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and rest up for the nights festivities. At 8:00 pm we will have a catered dinner that is included in the package. An Awards Ceremony for 3 categories (Most Challenged Driver, Close Call, & Top Raptor) will be voted on by you. Following the award ceremony, you can choose to retreat to your room, meet with awaiting friends/family or go out on the town with the others.

REMEMBER! Don’t have too much fun in Vegas due to leaving at 8 am sharp and will return on a different trail home Don’t be left behind!!!

Who can go?
Raptor Trucks Only!!! (If you don't own a Raptor, go buy one!)
Anyone who can handle long distance off road driving (wives and girlfriends are welcome on the trail or welcome
to meet you there)
The Raptor Runs can accommodate only 10 trucks due to the terrain, dust and logistics.
The first 10 Raptors who leave deposits
Raptor drivers with a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Driving ability:
The Raptor Run is open to all driving skills & abilities. You may drive to your own pace (if you don't feel comfortable driving 80 mph, that's ok with us. Just drive to your ability. This is a group run so no one will be left behind). Oultaw Raptor will also be advising you on how to drive and what not to do. This is a great opportunity to get
acquainted with your Raptor and how to handle it off road!

What you need to bring

Suggested:
Helmet. Personal decision. By no means are the trails so out of control that you need to wear one at all times. We also keep in mind that the slightest miscalculation off road can cause some serious injury (trust me, we’ve done it before)

Required Items:
Raptor Run registration form
Emergency contact info
Money (hotel, drinks, gas, etc)
Water (for in the truck on the trail)
Spare tire
Jack ( Craftsman floor jack recomended)
Tow strap (30,000 + recomended)
Gas can (5 gallons)
Tools just (what you need. We will have the tools for the heavy stuff)
Flash light
First aid
Cell phone
CB or Race Radio (if you have them)
Camera (This is a must)
Gloves
Sun block
Glasses
Diapers (for the seat wetters out their)
Clothes for dinner
Trail food and drinks
Good attitude!

Non required items but recommended.
Bumpers with off road lights, winch, D ring shackles, GPS, Satellite phones, bed tie down system for items in the bed.

Read this !!!!!
Remember this is a group event. Families and kids are welcome on the run. There is no drinking of alcohol or drug use of any type permitted on the trail. If you get out of hand, you will be asked to leave or be eaten by your fellow Raptors and your truck will be used for spare parts! So please, keep it clean.

So how do you get involved ?

We are limited to only 10 raptors on the trail. Outlaw Raptor will also have 2 additional Raptors on the trail that will carry the Outlaw Raptor staff, production guy, tools and parts. So that puts a total of 12 raptors on the same trail. The logistics will be a challenge all in itself!

Dust: If there is little to no wind the dust will linger and distort vision. Stay alert, and off the tail of the Raptor ahead of you. It is advised that you drive at a pace that you feel comfortable with.

Time: This trail is awesome and with 10 Raptors we will make good time. Any more and we will run in to time delays.

Different driving abilities: With 10 Raptors we will be able to help out those new to offroad driving so the pace will slowly increase as drivers feel more comfortable.

WE ARE 100% BOOKED FOR THE RUN ON THE 4th and 5th OF JUNE. We are now booking for the run on July 23rd and 24th. If you want to reserve your spot feel free to call Nate at the shop 949-581-5001. We have received a huge response so we are taking first come first served. P.S I'll be out of the office till next week due to having a baby this Friday. I'll get you e mail and respond when I can. Connor

If you have questions e mail me at [email protected] . I look forward to getting you guys on the trail and making history with your raptor!

$489.00 is on the cheep side. here are the logistics. Chase truck, Gas and driver with trailer to Vegas and back. CB Radios for loaners so we can all talk. Oakley trail pack with a value of $300.00. Mechanics on the trail included. Dinner when we get their. Raptor Awards. Grand prizes totaling 5k. Vehicle decal with raptor number on it. This all adds up not to mention we are prepped if something goes wrong. We have 3 contacts for medical air vac. one in barstow, one in vegas, and one military. I take four of my guys to help with it all so if you break something they can fix it. So if you do some quick math it actually come up to over $500.00. Luckily for the sponsors we have like Monster Energy, General Tire and Method Wheels they take care of the rest of the expense. The Monster Energy Outlaw Raptor Run was designed so 10 raptor owners can have an unbelievable experience with out having to stress on the logistics. I wade the price out heavily and 10 out of 10 people said that is more then fair.
