I am new to the off road trails and am interested in hooking up my Raptor with some aftermarket items. What are the best things to purchase?

Start with raising your perch. Its cheap (or free).

I'd suggest lighting if you plan on running at night.
A good method to strap stuff down in your bed (core-trax, e-line, etc).
More skidplating
Recovery Gear

THEN, if you don't feel the truck performs as well as you want, look at bumpstop kits, aftermarket leafs, etc... I would seriously suggest running it near stock for a while first. These trucks run great right out of the box.

AND, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Frame bracing is a popular mod around here too.

Several of our vendors in the right column

I definitely agree with trey about going to mid or top perch on your front shocks. Best money you can spend. Mid perch is how the truck should have come from the factory.

I think Trey and Bo covered all the important things.

The only thing I can add is that for me, having an aftermarket front bumper has actually been a mod I've really liked. I was always worried about bashing the stock one up, but with this one, if I scrape it on the rocks a bit, no big deal.

Oh almost forgot. Pick up a GoPro and a bunch of mounts. I also highly recommend the roll bar mount because you can just use it as a clamp mount for places like the running boards and the grille
