Relo upfitter and two round switches

I'd like to repo the up fitter and the two round switches that reside ahead of the gear shifter and use that area for a storage cubby like in the other F-150 variants. Has anyone done this? Can the semi-useless slot to the right of the radio stack accept the up fitter switches? There is an extreme amount of "area' around the dome light switch to the left of the steering column that could house the two round switches that used to live next to the up fitter switches. Thoughts on that please. I have the "raptor" bezel, bezel support plate, up fitter switches and two round buttons removed. I assume I can order a "tray" to fit back in the hole.

Your thoughts are appreciated. I can replace it to factory in about 4 minutes, so I'm not passed the point of no return…yet.
