Hi all I just picked up my first Raptor and it has a Roush stage 1 S/C on it and it has a mystery coolant leak.
It is dripping from the bellhousing. It appears that the entire engine valley has been full of coolant.
Where should I begin my search?

Also I forgot the other issue is the A/C wont turn on.
I know the basic check the system pressure, but that is all.

Also where would I find an Owner Manual and other glove box fodder?

Thanks! -A

Can you see what color anti-freeze it is.
I'm not sure if Roush uses different anti-freeze like Whipple does for the IC system.

IC hoses are in the front on a Roush, check for tightness.

The rubber grommet on the thermostat could be damaged or bolts came loose holding the housing, maybe.

Now there was a report of Roush drilling a hole in the block for some reason.
I forget what that was all about and what became of that owner or truck.
But it involved anti-freeze leaking at the back of the motor.
I believe it was around 2011 when it was posted on the forum.

Try some searches, and if I have time I'll search too.

Thanks ! I will start there!

Both systems have orange coolant so I went to Ford and bought a gallon.
The engine coolant system is only a little low.

I had the same issue on my n/a 2011 and it turned out to be just the thermostat housing o-ring. Replaced the o-ring and thermostat with a reische 170 thermostat from 5 star and problem gone

The cause was the o ring on the Roush replacement coolant pipe at the front of the block. It was the consistency of a gummy worm. I replaced both pipes o rings with viton o rings from McMaster Carr.
