Basically what Mike told me as well, wasn't super impressed to be honest. Yes he replied very fast and instantly almost - but that doesn't matter to me if the product wasn't good.

MPT tune is still running great - not sure why my 5Star tune was so bugged but it was - YMMV

And to the people saying I am MPT :ROFLJest: I am from Canada not Florida - ask the Mods to check my IP address.

Where in Canada ? Cause 5star could be different elevation and the trucks they are tuning could have different AFR or something who knows

Toronto - don't live in the mountains. It's only 245 feet above sea level here.

My shifting is also completely rough and outta control. Haven't contacted 5star yet - but that loks like a rude response

I have to retract my prior statement about my shifting being outta control. When I first installed my tune - I actually quiet enjoyed the hard shifts and all, but after a couple of thousand miles I started getting really hard shifts and it would feel as if my gears were slamming in - especially into 1-2 and 2-1.
After just reading now more about the driveshaft clunk - I have a feeling I misdiagnosed the hard shifts /clunks as transmission related and blaming it on the tune being too hard on the transmission. I was assuming the hard shifts were wearing things out way! prematurely. Sorry @5star

Just a thought gentlemen, the ford ecu codec is really sensitive I've been told. It looks like you solved the issue but this could also be an issue of km vs mph durning the loading of the tune. In the settings of the truck turn it to imperial and then after the tune is loaded change it to metric.

Remember he is writing it for the U.S. most likely and you're using metric. I've never wrote for this ecu, but on some of the others I've seen you can adjust shifting for specific speeds. And knowing ford they might not have built in the conversion for ya. It shouldn't matter In theory, but it is a variable you can reduce.

I have a 5* tune and mine works perfect. I would say if you are 2 for 2 on bad tunes it might be operator error or a variable on your half. Clean and check all Your sensors as well, and check all your mounts. Parts make wear patterns and more power will make new patterns.
