Just wanted to share what little info Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine had said about the 6.2.
SAM Racing (school of automotive machinist) was given a retired test 6.2L to play with recently. Although the article didn't say much about the 6.2, (because the article was more about the school in general) they did flow the intake side of the head.
Stock as it was given.
300+ cfm at .500"
334 cfm at .700"
The school/class hand ported the head and got 375 cfm :wow: (didn't specify lift)
The school/class went deeper and, cut, shaped, re-welded the port/s for 400+ cfm!!
Those are some crazy numbers and potential for a production 2v truck head imo. This thing should scream.
