I do the same thing with Pandora. I use the Llama app to start it when it sees my phone connect to the truck and to stop it when it disconnects from the truck.

That Llama app looks interesting.

I've used NextRadio which only works on a limited number of phones. You need to use a set of head phones as an antenna. It uses less data and battery, and works well if you have good local channels.

That Llama app looks interesting.
It can do a lot, once you get the hang of setting it up. I use it to switch my phone to vibrate at work (looks at which cell towers it sees or if I'm connected to work WiFi), normal at home and then silent at night (with the exception of certain contacts). It is really a neat app.
