[QUOTE="RyanM, post: 1360187, member: 30626"] Woke up this morning thinking I was going to install new red wheel trim rings on my 2018 Raptor. I opened the box and recognized I got SHTOOPED by thinking I could accomplish this for $100. I quickly realized when I saw only one ring in the box that the company didn't make a mistake. It's $400 for the set of four. I'm not paying $400 so I can have red rings on my rims. That brings me back to my original plan when I thought $100 was unnecessary. Plasti Dip is $25 and I know they sell bright red. I did a search and I see that people have used the product to spray their entire rims before and years later they are still solid. Any reason anyone can think of as to why I couldn't Plasti Dip the rings currently on the truck? I would obviously remove them. I saw one piece of advice which is to ensure that the entire rim even the insides you can't see need to be coated otherwise it'll peel. I intended on only spraying the exterior of the ring that is visible. Will it adhere better if I coat the entire front and back of rim ring? Any other advice would be appreciated. The one ring I did receive does look damn sexy. It is definitely solid so might bite bullet and just buy the damn things.
