I’d rather have piece of mind they’ve been rebuilt vs gambling on eBay shocks w/ who knows how much true mileage or abuse they’ve seen personally @ the tune of $1200-1600 for a set Course if ya want the “real” fox shocks 3.0s running like $5-6k right? I think the stock suspension setup (aside from that axle wrap in the rear) is excellent for the kind of off-road driving I do which is mainly rutted gravel roads, logging roads up your way, open grass fields, & occasional beach sand venture- I reminded myself how good it is driving down a 4 mile stretch of completely torn up road near me that was already bad before the asphalt was ripped up now it’s just straight dirt/gravel/potholes some 8-10” deep & but muddy too- in my wife’s MDX I have to go 10-15 tops or I feel like I’m just destroying it, in my vette it’s obviously impassable, but I was in my buddy’s Chevy 4x4 that had bilstein 5100s on it - def improvement over their stock stuff & same shocks I had on my GMC- & his truck started to feel like it was crying “uncle” @ 25-30 tops- my Raptor? Went down the same stretch @ 45-50 & it felt like it wasn’t breaking a sweat. Can’t imagine what it’s like w/ geysers/deavers & 37”s let alone if you swapped out for 3.0a
