[QUOTE="Badgertits, post: 1562149, member: 31322"] On the hunt for a replacement truck, as many may be aware inventories are tight right now - I really don't want to get something used unless its a great deal b/c even slightly used lower mileage (15-35k) are basically selling for near-new pricing but w/o the new car smell or full warranty or lower interest rates. I have looked quite a lot for a replacement Raptor & I don't really want or need a fully loaded up one, & every time I say "F it" & try to make some deals on the ones in that price range either a) they get sold before I have time do anything, b) the dealer has taken it upon themselves to destroy the truck by adding a rocky ridge lift package (literally found 5 like this), or c) they want anywhere from $3-$5k markup on top of MSRP My "fall back" plan to save some cash would be to get a decently optioned Ram or Chevy w/ 6.2 & work a deal seems like you can get more incentives w/ them since Ford just did their redesign on the F150 (and I have no interest in a standard F150) - but that would just be a "stop gap" measure for me to wait & see if something that really grabs my attention (like a new Raptor or TRX) comes out. I did find a lower tier optioned "801a mid" w/ leather in lead foot that I could get for like $1000 off MSRP & throwing in a rollup tonneau- would be $64k +ttl, in comparison to my 2018 801 that stickered just slightly higher I would be giving up a pano roof (don't really care), nav (has 8' sync screen & wifi so not big deal), the tailgate step, remote start on key & the bed lights. I could really see the diesel growing on me despite the fact that I ABSOLUTELY don't need it.....on other hand I def don't need a Raptor & most people on this forum would be fine w/ a Tacoma too so don't lie!!!!
