Just bought a used 2018 Raptor. Had it for about 4 days and really drove it for first time today (for longer than 3min).

Turned seat warmer on high. Drove for an hour to work and the switch stayed on high the entire time but the seat never got warm at all. I read the thread about it burning and shorting out, but my switch stays on. Just never gets warm.

Is it still most likely the heating element?

same thing happened to me about two months ago. Lights were on but seat never got warm. My truck has ESP warranty so the dealership fixed it under warranty. I think there is a write up of a DIY project somewhere on here

Same exact thing happened to me. I just got a new element yesterday from local ford dealer for $41 (with tax).

Here is the part number from the box - LL3Z-14D696-B

Awesome - I’ve contacted dealer because I purchased extended warranty that matches factory one. My only concern is getting it before 2029
