This. It's a cheap truck with a bunch of fancy hardware and tech bolted on. There's no reason to expect your paint quality to be any different than a completely base F-150. I'm not a paint snob but mine did come with one significant flaw that looks like something under the paint that the factory or dealer tried to touch up poorly. My tailgate has uneven gaps on the left and right. Again, it's assembled as an F-150 and the people building it don't care about it any more than a base model. My driver door latch is improperly spaced and I have a few furniture sliders stacked up in the door to keep it from rattling. Mine also makes a significant mechanical wine at idle that I'm told some do and some done. If you live in a metro with a handful of large dealers you can probably find one with competent service. Out here in the sticks neither of the Ford dealers in driving range have a clue when it comes to anything non-standard. I would never trust them with anything fit and finish related and I'm just happy as long the truck is mechanically sound and the tech isn't glitching. I paid $72k for the performance and the tech features. I'd have bought a BMW M2 if I wanted performance and fitment.
