******* OEM NAV FIXED ******* I am local to the shop and they reached out to me to see if they could use my 2018 Raptor 802a (sync3), to test the PX6 and troubleshoot a few issues. I previously had the older version and got fed up and returned it. An afternoon with their engineers, we figured out what was wrong with the OEM navigation and why it wouldn't navigate correctly. The Sync3 module is UPSIDE DOWN. Another piece of good news, is that all of us can fix it ourselves. When you rotate the Sync3 module 180 degrees, you will only use 2 screws to secure it, rather than 3. The 3rd hole is just left hanging. I'm attaching a picture for reference. The screws are indicated by the red circles. Button it all up, and now factory nav works as it should. Some other things that I noticed were fixed, was the back up camera. It's the same as the OEM camera when you shift it in reverse. The image is a little dark and possibly stretched, but not by much. The tablet is noticeably snappier, and apps like google maps work fine. The search bar is where it should be, etc. i think this was due to the tablet now running Android 8.1, and the beefed up hardware. Haven't had a chance to mess around with other apps, but will do so possibly tomorrow. One quirk I noticed while driving home, was that when you are listening to Satellite music through the console, the steering wheel FWD and BACK arrows (for music), doesn't function correctly. It seems to skip a couple of channels. Also, if you are listening to BT music through the tablet, pressing the FWD and BACK arrows (to skip tracks), mutes the audio right after switching to the next track. I'm hoping this is a minor software correction.
