Im going to need to wrap mine still, as the performance of this enclosure with a more powerful woofer has its on problems. So basically the stock woofer has 4 screws and it’s not of a standard pattern. I ended up drilling out 8 new holes and found 8 screws to hold it in. I ran new speaker wire from the amp to it as well. I ended up just cutting off the factory sub plug and ran those wires straight into an LC2i. LC2i is powered off the amps power and ground. The LC2i will auto sense input from the sub inputs and auto power on. I used the remote out on the LC2i to trigger the sub amp. It was all very simple to wire up and getting your power and ground through the fire wall is the toughest part of the job. But that’s not really hard once you know what your doing. I will post a couple of pics. I only had the power installed for this pic. But ground runs through the same grommet. I can get a pic of the LC2i later. You can try this upgrade and if you don’t like the sub performance, you have everything else in place and you can just add a new sub system. I only attempted this as a first attempt to see what I could do with the stock enclosure as I got the Kicker sub a while back for super cheap. How long I can live with this? Ummm not too sure yet lol
