30K miles on a 2014. I couldn't believe it when it happened. I was the original owner and had ran premium gas from day one, while also running a fuel tank additive every 5k miles to minimize fuel injector deposits and intake valve deposits, and so on. I have two suspicions for why it happened: 1) My truck sat for most of its first year of life. When I moved to Dallas during the summer of 2015, a Ford dealership right by the Cowboys stadium had a brand new 14 Ruby Red SE SCREW Raptor never titled with 30 miles on it. In short, it had been on display in Cowboys stadium since the 2014 models came off the assembly line (the Cowboys are sponsored by Ford, so they get display vehicles every year for their stadium). Given that Ford was discontinuing the Gen 1 and I was able to get it for MSRP (when Raptor prices were crazy) I bought it. So it probably sat with the same fuel for that entire year and maybe the fuel played a part in the pump going bad. 2) A couple weeks prior to the fuel pump failing, I spent the holidays in the Tetons. On some days, the temps never got above zero degrees. The coldest it got was -37F degrees. After a couple of weeks being back home in Texas, the pump failed. @KCM I thought Ford included the prices of what it would have cost if I didn't have the warranty, but they zeroed everything out. You can look up the part numbers to make sure your dealership isn't taking advantage of you. Hope you get this resolved!
