I got pulled over just about this matter last week coming back to toronto from owen sound. 2 rcmp cars pull me over. They were on spot on the law..... Led are non dot... I used 2 pairs of amber d2 they said it was way to bright. I got a 30 day "fix it tixket"eaning they told me to take off all my led bars or put covers if not done in 30 days.... Well.... Thats gonna suck for me. Im usually pretty carefull about this..... I rip concession roads from owen sound to orangeville at night doing 170 with all my lights on, i turned off everything but the amber d2s and drove into town to get gas... 10 feet from the gas station 2 cars pull me over. ---------- Post added at 11:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:33 AM ---------- Ok well i just read the rest of your post. You were on a public road, you where half asleep and didnt turn them off in time. That is illegal and dangerous cause the drivers of other cars cant see shit when rigids are on, its very dangerous. Hell i run my 50 on highway 10 and trans canada highway at night all the time but when i see there is incoming light at a bend meaning another vehicle is coming i am super quick to turn em off. I actually drive with my left hand and got my right on the aux switches when im on a public road. Having seen some snoball vides of me behind another truck with a go pro... Its a supernova at night and another driver will not be able to make out the road hence thats why there are rules about having aux lighting . Not bashin just making sure you watch out since i know your around ontario too.
