This is a simple project meant for the daily use (not off roading). Will work with any current model F150. Shortly after I bought by previous F150 (2015 Lariat), I put a 2x6 in the bed wall slots as a divider to help keep stuff near the tailgate. I live in a real hilly area so nothing just stays there even on very short trips. The 2x6 worked fine, but was tricky to get in and out because of the boxlink anchor. So I then notched out the ends and that did the trick. Later, I put in some egg crates because they hold a propane cannister pretty well, and to keep them from sliding around I wedged in a 2x2. I had this setup for a few years and it worked pretty well, except for 2 things. One is that the 2x6 was just heavy enough that I needed to get into the bed to remove it or put it back. And putting stuff to the right of the egg crates still sometimes made a big mess (I tend to bring home small plants for my yard quite a bit). So today I picked up a 1/4 sheet of plywood and made a simple tray. I also notched out some of the interior of the 2x6 to reduce the its weight. Both problems solved. Resources: 1/4 sheet of plywood (about 1/2" thick) 1 red bull 3 drops of blood 1 swear word (lower than expected) BEFORE: AFTER: notched out 2x6: New tray on the right (for republicans): New tray on the left (for democrats): New tray in the middle (for undecided voters):
