Raptor suspension woes continue... Just had the dealer replace the VDM on my 2020 raptor. Thus far since owning it brand new it’s been in the dealer probably 10 times for the same complaint of a harsh and uncomfortable ride. I’ve had one height sensor replaced as it was intermittent faulty. I’ve had all four Live Valve shocks replaced by the dealer. They found 3 out of 4 were fully locked up in the solenoid. It rode ok for quite a while and then it went back to being terrible again. I’ve posted about this before the latest is my contacts at Ford performance were able to tell the dealer to replace my VDM as it could be an intermittent issue within the VDM. I have found after the replacement no change. If I unplug the VDM with the truck on and in park and then plug it back in the truck rides like a wonderful soft Cadillac, no jarring bumps on road or off road and the suspension is wonderful. Now I’m at a cross roads on what to do. The dealer can’t figure anything else out, Ford has suggested maybe to replace the under hood harness but without proper testing and proof the dealer won’t do that swap. Might be time to consider it a lemon? Ideas comments suggestions?
