    Hello from Commiefornia

Corey, Albert is one of the good guys. I think you'll enjoy getting to know him. Thanks again Albert! (PS: I've gone over (back) to the dark side. The lady and I picked up a 2017 Ram 2500 Cummins a couple weeks ago. It aint a Raptor, no doubt about that. But for our needs these days, its...

    Time to move on

Thank you '258 for connecting me with Albert. I couldn't ask for a better home for my baby. It was *very* hard to see her go, but that was eased a bit knowing she's in his hands.

    Time to move on

Thanks for all the interest folks! I've gotten a few PMs with serious offers. Very nice to see others appreciate the build, as much as my wife and I have. As of now, I have a sale pending. All indications are that will go thru and she'll be with her new owner before Christmas. If that falls...

    Time to move on

:ROFLJest: I'm good to go. It's Joyce (my wife) that continues to struggle with stuff. Going on 3 years now, but she's managing it with a grace unlike anything I've ever seen with my own eyes. She's never stopped smiling. Truly amazing. Thanks Joe! We've actually taken up high power...

    Time to move on

Hey ya'll. Long time :) The lady and I have decided that its time to move on from the Raptor, and get into something more fitting our lifestyle/hobbies these days. Very long story short (that still isn't over), health issues have completely killed any offroad adventuring like we used to love...

    Time to move on

Sup ya'll! Long time... The lady and I have decided its time to move on from the Raptor and get into something more fitting our lifestyle these days (aka a truck that can tow something around 10k lbs). Long story, but health issues have killed all offroading thoughts, and instead we've found...

Haha well, we'll figure something out :) 10-4 on the light. I assume that's a simple reset via an OBDII programmer?

nos... if i do this, can you handle the whole swap? That's part two of all this; my bad back keeps me from doing anything like this these days. You up for it? Cost?

Thanks Humvee... that last one looks interesting. Any concerns buying one with a deployed airbag? Anyone have experience replacing that bag? The one out of my current seat is still good to go, so I've got that covered. Just not sure how to do the swap.

Anybody got one for sale? Suggestions on where to find one? I've searched the usual junk yard sources and eBay... Thanks in advance.

A few new mods: Leer 100R shell, 12v power in the bed, DeeZee EZ down

^^Very nice! Don't be surprised if you end up answering questions like "Hey is that a new Bronco??" or "Did Ford release an SVT Expedition??" I've been stopped 3 times now by folks asking those exact questions. Each said they'd be buyers if it existed, and are just waiting for Ford to release...

A few new mods: Leer 100R shell, 12v power in the bed, DeeZee EZ down

Update: After a logging trail run and a few high-ish speed jaunts thru an oil field or three (that I cannot confirm or deny took place), I'm happy to report zero issues whatsoever. I haven't jumped the truck, but its definitely been stressed a bit with the shell on and it hasn't budged.

    Dovetail Questions please

When I had mine done a few years back (on my 2010 SCab), the complicated part of the job wasn't hacking off the sheet metal, but what to do with the hitch. I ended up having the hitch torched off (its welded to the frame) shortened (material cut out horizontally then reinforced and welded back...

A few new mods: Leer 100R shell, 12v power in the bed, DeeZee EZ down

Yup. I think if/when I ever take the next step with this, I'll support it like we've said for sure if I haven't already done it. The next step: install a rail system up top and add a basket/rack to hold a spare tire and a couple gas cans. I'm not ready to go there yet, and I'm not sure if I...

A few new mods: Leer 100R shell, 12v power in the bed, DeeZee EZ down

Hey Dan! Good to hear from you. Buddy has a fridge that we use, and one is on my short list of to-buy. I also use it for power tool battery charging. Works great. Yeah those are the "old" style according to Leer. These "new" style actually go thru the fiberglass, rather than around...

A few new mods: Leer 100R shell, 12v power in the bed, DeeZee EZ down

There are four of these, one at each corner I'm giving thought to cutting four lengths of barstock to size, so that they span the rail from clamp point to clamp point, one for the top and one for under the rail in the bed, then run some grade 8 hardware thru the holes. But that's probably...
