How is the reception with the 50 cal antenna? I've had other stubby style antennas before and while they looked cool the reception was not good with them.
JBA side exit. Would definatly do it again. It's stainless, a side exit (which I wanted), aggressive without being obnoxiously loud, and was around $325.00 shipped...can't beat the price.
"there is only one company making one bolt on system(Stainless)."
JBA also makes a side exit (Lightning style) stainless steel exhaust. I think mine was ~$318.00 shipped from autoanything.com. It's not super loud but you know its there. The only thing I don't like about it is the chrome...
My supercab doors started to rattle like crazy on back dirt roads (I'm on dirt roads every day) at ~2K after being solid. I guess they have loosened up, but after checking the strikers ect nothing seems to have moved/loosened up. Some guys on here have added silicone tubing into the door weather...
The fact that "that" dealership is somehow involved in this doesn't surprise me in the least. Hmmm I see they have a few 12's on the lot...guess they aren't exporting them overseas for more than sticker anymore. Interesting.
Sounds like you either have a leak or air in the lines. Not a good thing since by the description of the work they did they didn't/shouldn't have opened up the system in any way. If it was a matter of just bedding in the brakes; yah they can feel a little spongy or numb, but nothing like what...
Honestly I think it's nice that Ford recognized that allowing the common man here a shot at owning a lower volume specialty vehicle is important. Supply/demand/cost ect aside by not allowing all or a majority of these to be owned by the few they will build a better long term customer base. For...
A dealer local to me was selling to a few select guys (that were paying over MSRP) and they were in turn shipping over seas and marking them up for a large profit. According to one of the Jr sales guys there this has been squashed by Ford (he said with a smirk...he finally got a Raptor sale a...
I really liked the 3/4 evil eye ring, but after seeing that definately think thats my new favorite. The side view looks like it's built into the shroud and not hovering...is that right...looks factory...cudos.
Strange that comes up as 329.95 to start for me...your code is better than the one I had SUMMER35 which was like 11% off...your code gets me to ~$280.00....tempting.
Yah I think the whole truck, bed, bumpers ect cost me 4 or 5 hundred when all said and done. At the time local shops wanted like 1,800+ to do it with line-x/rhino. It was always fun to see people scratch their arms on the lined bushwacker fender flares.
I did it with an old Tacoma I had years ago (used Herculiner), it did fade as I didn't use/know about the uv addative that was available. If you prep it right it will outlast the truck...mine did. The Herculiner had a lot bigger rubber "pebbles" than most of the professionally sprayed liners and...
I initially found that other site as well, but unded up here as the info is just plain better. Cups....hmmm are you from the Subaru forums? Handle sounds familiar.
Seems like the plasti-dip is popular with the guys here and the OPs ride looks nice the way he did it....kudos. I think I'm going the Herculiner route on my bed, flares, and possible bumpers and skid plate. I had a truck that I did entirely with Herculiner and it outlasted the truck.
