I use a Vara Safety II with a bracket I made that bolts to the front seat mount hardware. So no drilling into the vehicle. A little pricier option but a little more secure as well. The biometrics have…so far…worked quite well for quick/reliable deployment.
I have stopped receiving the daily updates? Last Thursday (11/6) the links in the daily posts stopped working. Is there an issue with the website? Thx!
For those that do their own oil changes, what is considered the “standard” for documenting that these have been done? I’d hate to have a warranty issue due to “no documented and accepted proof” that the changes were done at home. Any insight the experts on here can provide would be appreciated...
It’s a moderately sized plug. Is it just for the auto-dimming feature? I was contemplating adding a video rear view mirror and was curious if unplugging that harness would cause issues. TIA!
The Gen 3 does have a new/different
Protection set-up that looks like it will make break-in more difficult. Hard to say exactly as I never tried stealing a Gen 2 or 3! Lol… If you compare the 2 they are different for sure.…check out YT videos of Gen 2 issues and compare those to Gen 3 set-up.
2 questions I hope someone can assist me with:(Gen 3 with 37 PP)
1. Are the rear brakes/rotors considered “heavy duty”. I see when shopping for these they ask if it’s medium or heavy duty?
2. What size is OEM rear rotor in mm?
Thanks!
I may be completely wrong about this but I thought the “R” button on the steering wheel (Gen 3 MY 22 and above) was a way to lock in all the modes you had in place for steering, dampening and exhaust so you didn’t have to change the modes every time you start up ….as you have to do in the Gen 3...
FYI:Specialty Performance Parts makes a plug and play harness for Gen 3 that allows you to tap into running lights harness by the hood latch. This way your LP running lights come on with the rest of your running lights and you don’t have to use a UF switch. I am also told they are coming out...
I’ve got a 2021 LFG with 37 PP. Approximately 3800 miles. When shifting to manual mode (pushing the “M” button by the shifter) only the down shift paddle on the left is working. It won’t upshift. Any suggestions as to a cause/remedy would be appreciated. Fuse? Shifter module? Thanks!
Sounds Good Audio in Nashville has an install video on their website of an amp rack behind rear seat in a Gen 2. In order to do this they show you how to remove C pillar and disconnect the seat belt/air bag mechanism on the belt.
My truck does the same…I kinda feel
like you have to pay close attention when passing. Some of this may be due to the wide stance of the Raptor. MAY…also be part of the reason for Ford dropping the Blue Cruise for the Raptor. Who knows? ♂️
Ok got it! Clearly he has way to much time on his hands if he is worried about that…lol…jeez…his problem not mine. May want to seek professional help……
