Like others have said, its the aftermarket cables, I've never had issues with Apple brand cable. Also make sure you plug the phone in AFTER you start the truck and the system finished its startup.

They confirmed that they are replacing backup cameras like crazy, and although it appears so, could not confirm upgraded definition. The cameras are currently on back order through Ford.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but without those XR rails, i think you are stuck to the KB Voodoo rack. It has brackets that slide UNDER the rails. Check out "The Whalen" on Youtube, he has that setup on his rig.

The stick on ones from Amazon arent the same thing and I think it may look to cluttered with the embossed f-150 right under it. I too have been looking for an Agate Black tailgate with appliqué.
