Dunno. Looks like something I would see on the next episode of Narcos or something. Lol. Too flashy for my liking, but then again, I guess you can say I've done something similar with my truck, but in lightning blue. lol. Question: How are you liking the Morimoto lights? I've read al ot of...
I like 'em! (but then again, I'm an old buck with 22's on my Little Blue Mule. lol (although it's been in the shop going on 2 months now with the "Raptor Flu" (Cam Phaser issue), and I am not happy. I want my truck back stat!))
My 2017 Raptor has been in the shop going on a month now for Cam Phaser issues as well. My service rep told me it's a common issue with F-150s, which is why the parts are on backorder. She told me to expect two months or so for the repair to be complete. Luckily, I was able to get my truck in...
I went in 2017. It was awesome. Best experience ever, as well as eye-opening as to what can be done with the truck. The Raptor can pretty much climb walls. lol.
Alas, currently, I've been without my truck for close to a month now and going through withdrawals (the Expedition rental I'm in...
I have a MagnaFlow exhaust and lovin' it, especially in Sport mode with the Pedal Commander activated. It is loud, but.... it's awesome. Highly recommend.
Yeah, so, um......Not concerned. I do expect many of those Hyundai vehicles to be purchased by Molly Maid and other service industry providers tho.....
2017 Raptor owner over here and have absolutely loved it. In fact, it's been in the shop less than any other vehicle I've owned during the same timeframe (Porsche, BMW). And.... It's just so fricken' fun to drive. From now on, I will always own a Raptor.
Tight parking spot. #NailedIt
Wow. Next up: "Why do my windshield wipers function on their own in the rain? Paranormal activity? Is my truck possessed?" (lol. Sorry, but.....ask silly questions, get silly responses... ;))
I have a CAI, upgraded intercooler, Magnaflo exhuast, Pedal Commander, and upgraded suspension. The truck is definitely faster than stock, so much so that I had to get aftermarket brakes and calipers as well to slow it down quickly enough when throttling it off of the line. And.... I still...
So here's my thing: I'm in the market as well for a 2020 911 (might wait until the turbo comes out because the spy photos are ridiculous). Price isn't so much an issue as is comfort and AWD access which the 911 will offer, and which the C8 does not (although admittedly, I do not know if a...
Not through Cobb, but I did have an aftermarket I/C installed behind the grill, and since then, I noticed that the AC isn't cooling enough unless I disengage the auto shut off switch each time I use the AC. Once disengaged, the AC works just fine. Not sure if that's related, but I thought...
Question: What is the best mode to jump the truck the fastest off the line? Currently, if I'm feeling like somebody wants to get the jump on me, and it's relatively "safe" to play for a brief moment, I switch it to AWD, Sport mode and the Pedal Commander on Sport Plus. That usually does the...
2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport. Oh, how I miss that car, but..... it was in the shop a helluva lot more than the Raptor and simply not as much fun as my Blue Beast. No regrets, but now that I do have the Raptor, time to add the 2020 911 to my driveway sometime soon. ;)
Yup, happened to me too. Freaked me out, especially when I lost power going up a hill. But as soon as I turned off the Blue Beast and turned it back on, everything was back to normal.
Love my 37"s. As you can tell in the pic, I did modify the suspension so as to help with the clearance (and the ride quality). The modification helped out big time. Prior to that, my 37"s were rubbing bad. Now, they only rub on tight turns. Aside from that, the truck runs great (upgraded...
I think it'll give your Raptor a "Dumbo Ears" appearance, but utility-wise, it makes sense. The only minor fender bender I've had in my Raptor over the last 2+ years, has been as a result of not being able to see my lower right side of my truck when turning right and not clearing a parked car...
If you've owned in excess of 200 to 300 vehicles thus far, then you should know better than most that many vehicles may need to be modified to achieve their true potential (unless, of course, you own a rental car agency full of 200-300 cars, and if so, your stock Raptor fits right in (and even...
Enjoying my 2017. I have modified it a little bit, but even with the mods, no issues except for a recent oil leak that's covered by warranty. Enjoy your beast!
This one isn't my truck, but rather the truck that I drove during the Raport Assault Training Course at the Ford Performance Racing School in Tooele, Utah, a couple of years back. Picture perfect backdrop right there. Good times. Highly recommend for anyone who hasn't done it yet.
