I appreciate the reply and did the same thing, basically which was to get a new truck. I traded in my 2018 Raptor for a 2020 King Ranch. The new truck drives great and I love it.
I am just coming across this post and am having very similar issues with my 2018. I just picked mine up at the dealer and they indicated that they could not duplicate the issue but the pedal vibration is still there. I may not have explained the issue correctly to the service guy but your post...
Sorry to hear that the new one didn't fit but hope that yours is covered by warranty as well and gets repaired soon! They did give me a new ford ranger loaner which was good because I only have the one vehicle.
Good to know that's it's part of the 5yr/60k warranty. I was driving it in 2H when the problems occurred. I just picked it up from the dealer and they said they have had a few (even a new 2020) with this transfer case issues recently.
Notes from the tech on the repair order - "Road test...
My 2018 with 16k miles is in the shop after it broke down on me this past weekend while about 60 miles from home. Long story short, had to have it towed to the dealer where they told me today that it needs a new transfer case as it was locked in 4w low. Luckily still one year left on warranty so...
Got my 2018 at 51 last year but have had a F-150 since my mid 30's. It just took me a while longer than most to accumulate the funds needed to get her. My 2018 cost more than my first house I bought in 92. LOL
I turn it on it's side and use the thin small area between the cup holder and the shifter. It fits perfectly in there snug and I can charge it at the same time with the cord.
I have just under 10k miles on my 2018 (purchased in July 18) and avg. about 14.3 MPG which is all inner city driving. Lots of lights, stops, etc.. I am very curious as to what I will get in a few months when we take our first road trip in it. I am hoping to 20 MPG but would be happy with...
Sorry to hear of your issues. That really sucks and I know exactly how you feel. I had a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack that was constantly in the shop for issues. I sold it and a 2007 F-150 and bought the 18 Raptor which I absolutely love. No issues thus far (knock on wood).
Nice truck. I recently had rigid lights installed in the front bumper, upper grille and flush mounted in the rear bumper all connected to their own aux switch. I have been very pleased with them and will post some pics later. I had them professionally installed and total cost was about 3k for...
I appreciate the replies. I called the shop yesterday and they said it should be fine on the 10A aux switch. If it does end up blowing a fuse or whatever, I will take it back for correction. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a fire hazard, especially with the earlier recall that involved a...
I had a 2007 lariat that I bought new and also a 2017 Dodge Challenger 6.4 scat pack and sold them both for my 2018 raptor. It’s my daily driver and I could not be happier with it. Sure, it gets crappy gas Milage but only about 1 mpg less than my 2007 and 2 more than the challenger. :) good luck!
