Won these KC's long throw 850 HID's at Raptoberfest, never thought I had a good spot for them. Boy was I wrong! Real nice complement to the Blackhawk LED bar.
Phone pics blow of beam shotws and still too lazy to get the good camera out.
I've got some KC 8" HID Long Range 850"s that I won at Raptoberfest that I can't find a good place on my truck for them. Looking for around $350 cash or some trades, would like a Yeti Cooler, maybe a couple of Ipads, tires.
I had a similar issue, mine was caused by the relay harness not having waterproofed connections. Scraped the corrosion off the pins and put some RTV in the back of the connector where the wires go in, hasn't acted up in quite a while.
Mine wasn't a Ducati harness but bought from TRS, which is...
Glad you reminded me, I have a full face small or medium I let a neighbor borrow that I was meaning to get back so I could bring it on this run for reasons just like this.
I got the Ford lightbar used from another forum member, seems like they are around $250 new.
As far as mounting the Blackhawk light, I bought the bracket from TMX ready to go. Straight bolt on, no modifications necessary. If you order the bracket from them to mount on the Ford lightbar, make...
Finally got around to doing this. The hardest thing was getting the wheels back on the lugs by myself when I was done. Damn 35's are hard to wiggle around with no grip on the back because the caliper is in the way.
Thanks Kaiser for the instructions.
Big thanks to Jason at TMX for the install on this light. I could not be happier with the output of it. I just thought my HID heads and 4" HID hood lights were bright! With the bar on you cannot tell they are on.

If you don't have a good solder sucker, I'd recommend putting your iron on those terminals/pins and then blowing the solder off with an air gun/compressor.
At the TRR got tired of my rear seat popping up after getting in the air. With Raptoberfest coming up, figured I better do something about it.
Basically I removed the factory latch and cut a deeper groove in it so it locks both down and up using the factory latch handle under the seat.

Not sure if you had poked around in that thread, has some pretty good pictures and is what I used to install mine.
Busa has you about home though it looks like...
Post #245 in that thread has a close-up of the two wires...
Haven't seen anyone on here try a 55w in the OEM Projectors, but I may have missed it. As Nosbusa said, heat might be an issue. You might call or PM Dawson at Raptor Retrofits to see if he has tried 55's.
It is a D3S bulb, if that helps you on your quest.
Finding a 55W 6k D3s bulb and...
Each hole is 9" apart on center, 4 bolt holes, so 27" center from end hole to end hole.
I am looking for a similar setup so have the same question about what will fit.
