Installed some FORD lettering on the grill...I like how it turned out.

I ordered some FORD letter outlines and installed those this afternoon too...along with a new clock spring behind the steering wheel. That solved the rest of the dummy lights and gave me the steering wheel controls that were previously not functioning. When 74Auto installed the steering wheel...

I picked her up this AM and WOW...I am in love with this truck. I still need to finish the exhaust and install a couple small trim pieces on the bed. But she is painted and basically finished....at least for the basics. Now bring on the mods!

Well, I went by and took a few shots before heading out of town. My guy was able to get it straight after-all and it is coming along quite well.

EDIT - no longer selling the 5.5' bed. However, I am still considering changing the frame to enable the installation of a 6.5' bed...but now it is because I want to, not because I have to. Going to do some additional research, but this could be fun.

I did not explain the whole long story. As I said at the beginning of this blog, I used to own a body shop. These three hispanic brothers all worked for me and now have their own small shop, but still do all of my work as well as work for the public. They are some of the best body guys I have...

Had the Raptor moved back to the shop today to get the frame work done and the bed installed. Before I left this AM I placed a sizable amount of money in an envelope in the glove box since it is Friday and payday at the shop. Long story short is the truck arrived minus the money in the glove...

The bed has been sectioned at the factory seams and the pieces are being assembled today. Getting close :biggrin:

Thanks Eddie, I’ll check them out. I was able to drive her home from the shop where we performed the swap, and I did not experience any driveline vibration from my original driveshaft despite the two dents visible in the above pic.

I replaced my rack (which came with new inners) and the outers last night and was able to get a good alignment. The left front previously had significant play and there was definite issue internal to the rack. Just a note, the 2010 racks are on national backorder from Ford with no anticipated...
