    First Oil Change Tips Needed

Correct, you have the newer aluminum pan, not sure if Ronin makes a valve for that but I know Fumoto does. https://www.fumotooildrainvalve.com/f137n.html

    First Oil Change Tips Needed

Change my oil every 5k 1st remove the small drain access cover (if you don't offroad leave it off less to remove next time) 2nd remove oil drain plug, mine is plastic so simple twist out, or because I replaced with a fumoto threaded into a yellow plug, open valve, works perfect and no leaks. 3rd...

Harbor freight Tool Box and Raptor truck bed

I just brought home a 56" Milwaukee top and bottom set weighing over 700lbs combined. First unloaded the bottom half with my motorcycle ramp (driveway is on an incline so parking at the bottom gives me a pretty flat loading and unloading with ramps) then I backed the truck up to the bottom half...

    Bed D-ring Tie downs

Super strut channel, though I've been considering rigging something up and moving them to the underside of my trifold cover. then I can put a farm jack in that spot.

    Bed D-ring Tie downs

It is just laying there between the spare and the wheel well. It stays in place good enough for me and I've offroaded this thing pretty hard with jumps and all its never moved from that place. And I went cheap with a 2 ton harbor freight jack, pro eagle would be sic but over priced imo. Works...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Not today but over the last week got my SVC Baja bumper installed along with a new light bar.

    Bed D-ring Tie downs

I've been using these off amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CGXSNC0/?tag=fordraptorforum-20 All you need to do is drill the hole a bit larger and there is clearance for the factory bed bolt heads. I strap down my spare with them and I've strapped down my motorcycles to them with no...

    Frame chop front recovery points

Yeah great idea, never get stuck if only I thought of that but occasionally the snow and mud gets a little deeper than my ego, haha. I've never heard of strapping to the UCA. I'd rather stick to frame mount locations if possible.

    Frame chop front recovery points

That is basically exactly what I am looking for! I'll have to try this out once mine comes in. Great pictures and explanation.

    Frame chop front recovery points

And you just bolted them to the side of the frame? I'm sure I'll figure something out when I actually get the bumper and pull the other one off.

    Frame chop front recovery points

Going frame chop SVC soon, looking for front recovery options since I'll be losing my tow hooks. I've seen people use have welded tow hooks to the frame in the past but can't find any examples now. I know soft shackles around the frame is popular. Curious what people are using or have done for...

    Rear Winch ideas?

Cheap harbor freight hitch winch cradle. I also welded a hitch receiver to the front of my car hauler, just a step bumper receiver from HF. Wired some quick disconnect 25' jumper cables from the battery to the bed of the truck and the winch itself for easy plug and play. Now I can either use...

    Anyone not have problems?

2017 with 34k, and its done a fair share of offroading and spirited driving. Only issues were a bad grill light and a bad knock sensor that kept throwing CEL early on. After those were replaced I've had 0 issues. Cobb tuned for about 1/2 year now too. Still running the OE tires too believe it or...

    Ice racing and tire pressure

Old thread but thought I'd share my experience with ice racing with the raptor. I've only done it once (so far) but it was a blast! Its wasn't competitive, it was mostly for funs. I ran 30ish psi on OE KO2s and the truck hooked surprisingly well! Also was in baja 4H, and played with rear diff...

    COBB tuning Raptor tune

    COBB tuning Raptor tune

Installed the Cobb CAI and Intercooler a few weekends ago. Stage 2 is a huge improvement over stage 1. Can't wait to drain this tank of 91 and find some 93 to really try it out! Install was pretty simple and I'm not a car mechanic guru, hardest part was cutting up the grill shutter assembly but...
