New batteries will help a lot..... my remote uses two 2025, but i used two 2032. Both are 3v. The 2032 will last longer because they are a little thicker than 2025, and still fit in the fob with no problem.

I checked mine, looks like you will only have 26 1/4 “ and because of the 1”square tubing welded to the center piece that stays in place ( 53”) apart the measurement is 24 3/4 So, if you are under 53” wide you have 26 1/4 from center to tailgate.

Thought I would show a night shot

I like my fold up bed extended, but what I don't like is when it's folded up it completely blocks my bed light switch, so for now I keep it unfolded until I need the full bed.

Well, not a lot of work. Unhook lift struts, unclamp 4 clamps, that's it. The diamondback comes in three pieces and was easy to install.

Finally.....arrived Wednesday , went to Zbart Thursday and got to drive it Friday. Going from a 04 FX4 to a 17 loaded raptor. I drove about 50 miles and it's really all that I thought it would be.

4 sure it's not the power steering whine, I know what that sounds like, this is night and day difference. I too can make the noise go away by letting off the gas, or giving it more. Thanks for the advice. I always thought it was a vacuum leak but I'll probably never know.

I ordered mine from the factory. Factory price was the exact price with shipping as two other 4 wheel magazine I checked.

I know exactly what that sounds like. My 04 5.4 f150 FX4 that I bought new, started making that sound around 2012 I think, but only when the temp. was zero or below, and still to this day I don't know where it's coming from. Truck still runs great 135,000 miles. the ( whistle ) would go away...
