And remember this intake you reuse the bottom half of the stock air box.
I have a few items that need a new home.
1. S&B intake with brand new paper filter. About a year old. $200 including shipping. Sold
2. PAC amppro interface with optional optical piece installed. About 9 months old. $200 including shipping. Sold
3. SCT X3 tuner unmarried from the truck...
Well so far so good. Fitment is good. Decent gasket. Seems well built and is sealed and the back side. Light output is decent. Brake light is bright. And cargo is usuable. (Stock with led bulbs has more light) Time will tell though. I'll post update after aittle bit and see how it is working out.
Third brake light was apparently leaking. And after our two days of rain here only noticed after water from headliner and rear seats wet. Went to dealer and got told sorry but that won't be covered and be 480 bucks to replace the third brake light and nothing else they can do.:flipthebird...
I know this is a few months old. But just wasted to say thanks for the info after 3 trips to the dealer and get run around. With this info and the other f150 forum going to try the resistor mod and go from there.
I had same problem with my 2013 and after 3 trips to the dealer oh this and that. They finally rebuilt the rear end saying it was overheating causing the overflow. Hope this helps.
The question with the pac unit becomes if it retains all sync voice features chimes alerts etc. In addition does all audio still work as well over the optional optical for those with a DSP
Your probably right. That was the quickest place I could put it so I could go out and test. Thinking maybe routing somewhere else. Give it a couple days.
2013 here and just installed. And just a short drive with city mode and noticeably different. Much improved response and in sport :Whoa: better hold on. One of the best mods to date.
