The place I had mine tinted tested it and came back with some whacky number, like 27%... useless info to me since I told them to match the front as best as possible, I just remember him telling me, lol.
Oops, typo, should be Valance strip, Rappy Graphics sells them t continue the black down the entire front if you do a hood wrap. I bought the piece when I got my wrap, just never put it on, now I'm just tired of having a roll of black vinyl moving from shelf to shelf in my house waiting to be...
Finally got the ear brake rotors and pads changed, only to discover I need to tear them off again and do the parking brake shoes since they're making a shitload of noise, even adjusted as much as I can adjust them.
Now I'm trying to come up with a game plan to install this stupid ass bumper...
I bought mine because I think they're one of the baddest looking stock trucks ever made, and the extent of the off-roading I've done is playing in my buddies corn field once last year....
Now the only thing is, I have the truck, so I WANT to take it off-road, I just don't have access to a ton...
I'd say they're as reliable as the owner makes them. You take care of your truck, it'll take care of you. I've had mine for about a year now, keep up on maintenance as well as I can, then beat the hell out of it for fun, and daily driving. So far the only issue I've had is my drivers side...
Saw a beautiful blue raptor coming out of the Walgreens in Monona WI today, it made me want to drop the $1500 on those kick ass headlights, lol

I do have a theory (nothing solid), that we might see certain Gen1 values slightly increase once the Gen2's come out. I also see dealerships offering more for Gen1's in trade in with the Gen2's.
There are always those people who want the newest, even if it's not the best. I was at the...
Local gas station changed their "reward point" system, so I used up my old points, paid $1.19 last week... but normally it's been hovering around $2.28.
Unfortunately now I have to start over (I was actually seeing if I could accumulate enough points where they have to pay me back for gas...
I haven't even put it in yet, but thanks for reminding me I have another project that I still haven't completed, lol. I'm thinking of just putting it on the center console by my leg in that little pocket area, like this
Now I need to figure out how to get rid of that glue from my rubber...
Lol, that's like talking to someone, mentioning you were in the military and getting the response "Oh, my friend John is in the Marines, do you know him?!"
Well, it wasn't a Raptor, but I saw a guy in a a bare bones XLT 2 door (long bed) that slapped a Raptor grille on the front of his truck, and somehow attached the fender flares to his stock fenders and bedside... needless to say it looked a tad goofy. I just wish I would have had my camera...
Nah, I hide like a bitch in that little thing, lol, just take note of where I see and what it is.
That being said when I stopped in the Wisconsin Dells yesterday to get gas, some poor dude was getting his 2010 or 2011 Silver SCAB repo'ed... dude was fighting and flailing all over the place...
Seen a few this week already, usually I only see the "usual suspects" I see all the time. This week I followed a black... something, with Alabama plates... I was behind it in my tiny Focus, that I followed into Woodmans in Sun Prairie. After I got my soda and going home, saw a white SCREW...
You would think running it up the C Pillar across the headliner would be the better option to keep the wire away from other wires in the truck. I know it's a display wire, and little chance of getting any interference from other systems, but better safe IMO.
Tested today and got my Technician license. Woohoo, now I can finally install all this stuff, lol. Unfortunately my laptop has been out for repair for a bit now, so I wasn't able to study the General material, but the examiner said I could come back within the year and take it and they won't...
My bed is pretty well sealed up, did quite a bit of drenching everything to make sure things stay dry after I got my new cover, and very little water makes it in.
