One important aspect is able to communicate with other Raptors while on the trail. Many of us are now using Ham Radios. You can buy an Icom or Kenwood 50Watt radio or a cheap handheld radio from Amazon.

I can tell you that the 2014 model has less recalls compared to the earlier models. A couple of example is about the driveshaft and powertrain control module I think the biggest issue I had so far on my 2014, the dealer replaced the transmission valve body under warranty. All Gen 1 Raptors...

Paid MSRP for my 2014. At first the dealer didn't budget with the $5000 mark up. Then I showed them my Costco quote for MSRP then the dealer accepted to match the price.
