I average 12.5 to 13 overall gas mileage in my 2014 Roush with JDM tune. Best upgrade was the JDM tune. Much better shifts and overall drivability. I drive 50 miles round trip Monday through Friday. Usually costs about $140-$150 a week for gas now.
Yes the beauty ring needs to come off. Just make sure you use the correct size Torx bit so you don’t strip the heads of the bolts. Those bolts aren’t cheap to replace.
I had a 2016 TRD Tundra before my 2014 Raptor and there isn’t even a comparison between the two. I’ve debated putting mine up for sale but, I know I’ll regret it immediately.
