I did get the 14.4" unit and installed it. It worked and was able to connect phone easily and have CarPlay work. The sound of it was good as well even without any changes of settings as I didn't have it in long enough to fully play with all of the settings. Speed of unit was fine turned on and...

Pulled the trigger on the Autotec pro 14.4" for my 2012. I'll update the thread or maybe start a new one detailing install or comments.

Any updates on these installs? Looking into one of these units for my 2012. Any tips or feedback appreciated.

It could be wheel hubs/bearings. I've had same harshness/grainy feeling in steering wheel along with what I was thinking was tire roar but tires have plenty of tread left (BFG KO2's) for some time (2012 with 95k miles) and I'm looking at just replacing both front hubs soon.

Could you post pics of the Gen2 beadlocks on your truck? I'm trying to find pics and info and haven't been able to see much. Thinking about doing this on my 12' race red.
