I'll give it another try. I just picked up the same thermostat you have. I also finally found the square type o-ring/gasket. I'm gonna go to Ford get new bolts and a new housing. I guess you'd say I'm starting all over again. Sounds silly all this fuss for such a small leak! I'm a lead QA...

I've just about had it with my 2014 6.2. It's had a very slight leak around the thermostat housing for that last year. I've tried everything from the good Ford round O-ring (leaked) the good FelPro O-ring (still leaked) I looked forever and finally found the square gasket the thermostat fits...

Can you tell me where to get the "Square" O'Ring? Do you have a P/N? I have access to the round O'Ring (8255) but can't seem to locate the square one that goes on the thermostat. Additionally are you putting the round O'Ring in as well? The 8255 O'Ring does not have a groove for the O'Ring to...
