Idle and low to mid rpm is near identical. It drones too. Id say it’s my least favorite of a dozen turbos I’ve owned, but does sound “serious”. A matter of taste? Unless I’m headed to 0530 yoga, as Honda owners do.
Old man Honda worked out the compression for a small displacement, e.g., motorcycles, and long history of Formula One work. I’d rather buy American if I could.
Meanwhile, my GEN three exhaust sounds like someone Threw a flaming bag of popcorn into a sewer pipe. And that’s quiet mode.
Does anyone know the truck? It’s a 2022 that sold just sold in January. Seems stock incl ECU. Owned by some sort of contractor who traveled a lot. I picked it up it in Lakeville Minnesota.
good morning. That exhaust drone is driving me nuts. Background, I have owned both a 3.5 eco-boost F150 and a Nissan GTR. This sounds like neither. There was no other Raptor at the dealership last week for comparison. The only other one I have driven was a gen 2. It was quite nice in comparison.
Looking good with decals off. Exhaust is still loud all the time. Local dealership felt it changed slightly once per key cycle. I fiddled with drive mode. Reply from Ford service hotline pending.
Now that’s funny. Am I getting hazed here?! I actually like Priuses—Prii?—Anything aerodynamic tends to look good. Be on the lookout for my next post in 2028.
